'Moment's Peace' Care Package
What will your donation do?
Our volunteer birth and postnatal companions are trained to deliver trauma-informed and culturally competent care to the clients we support. From attending antenatal appointments to supporting births to providing nutritious meals, our companions are there every step of the way to help our clients birth and parent with confidence.
£10 will provide a new parent with a starter supply of nappies and wipes
£15 will provide one parent with emergency items like baby formula or groceries
£30 will provide a volunteer with a mobile data plan to contact their clients
£50 will cover travel expenses for an expectant parent to attend antenatal appointments
£100 will provide a pregnant person with comfort items to support labour & birth
£350 will provide an interpreter for a client to communicate with their companion whilst supportedby Amma
£1000 will provide specialist trauma-informed training to an Amma volunteer
£1500 will provide one parent with the continuous support of an Amma companion from pregnancy to postpartum
